Some good news for fan and who like to use Back|Track Penetration Testing Distribution.
BackTrack 5 aka Revolution will be update to revision R1.
According to the Offensive Security Guys:
“This release is their best one yet.
Some pesky issues such as rfkill in VMWare with rtl8187 issues have been fixed, which provides for a much more solid experience with BackTrack.
We've have Gnome and KDE ISO images for 32 and 64 bit (no arm this release), as well as a VMWare image of a 32 bit Gnome install, with VMWare Tools pre-installed.
We are mighty excited and are already downloading this release just as we speak!s”
Over 100 bug fixes, and also numerous package updates and the addition of over 30 new tools and scripts.
According to Backtrack-Linux.org, they quote that this "Backtrack 5 Release 1 will be rock".
Backtrack 5 R1 was released during event at the Blackhat/Defcon 19 conference.
